The update also introduces new player portraits for added customization, along with a series of card balance changes and reserve rotation to reinvigorate the meta. A range of minor improvements and additions further refines the overall gameplay experience. Discard & Disrupt
Finland’s addition in the United Front release sharpens its identity as a specialist in asymmetrical warfare, with a new discard-focused mechanic that lets players sabotage and even steal from the enemy deck. Cards like MOLOTOV COCKTAIL and DARK DEEDS force the opponent to discard or lose tempo, while ME BF 109 G FI adds pressure through airborne card theft. The iconic FINNISH BOYS offer vital protection by preventing your own cards from being discarded, anchoring the strategy. With ambush tactics, air support, and clever control tools, Finland expands its disruptive arsenal for a uniquely punishing playstyle.
Holding the Line
France reinforces its “hold the line” identity in United Front with a blend of Blitz and Guard tactics that strike a balance between aggression and defense. The addition of the SOMUA S35 enhances frontline power, boosting the first unit deployed each turn, while new infantry options like 5e CUIRASSIERS and 18e RÉGIMENT synergize to maintain board control. ESCAUT PLAN adds tactical flexibility by repositioning units and enabling Ambush when played first, amplifying France’s battlefield presence. These reinforcements bolster France’s resilience, offering both mobility and staying power in key moments.

Italy sharpens its edge in United Front with a powerful focus on the REGIA AERONAUTICA, embracing an aggressive air strategy built around synergy and strength in numbers. The skies become a battleground where every aircraft contributes to overwhelming momentum.
Supporting this doctrine, the WOLVES OF TUSCANY boosts all air units from the frontline, while the MACCHI C.200 scales its power based on your airborne presence. Together, they form a fast, flexible force built to dominate with coordinated strikes and relentless pressure.
